Mueller is a vast mixed-use development built on the site of the former Robert Mueller Municipal Airport in Austin, Texas. The project was designed using key principles of new urbanism including environmental sustainability and walkability. The Mueller development features a variety of homes, retail, restaurants, office space and several acres of green space, making it one of Austin’s premier live-work-play communities. This particular project was a cluster of retail and restaurant space within the development. Keeping with the contemporary look and feel of the Mueller community, architect Steve Stumpf of Enviroplan in Austin wanted to use metal panels as part of that design. Thin Seam, 7/8” Corrugated Panels and 5V Crimp in colors such as Galvalume, Stone Gray, Patina Green and Charcoal were installed, giving the buildings a modern and sophisticated appearance. “This was the first job we used Fabral on,” said Stumpf. He was very happy with the finished and will “likely use Fabral again in the future”.Jose Balderas of America Roof Solutions in Austin recommended Fabral panels to Stumpf because of their satisfaction with our products in the past. A combination of Fabral’s standards of quality and competitive pricing encouraged Jose turn to Fabral once again for this project.
