The two-story, 47,000 GSF Allied Health Services building is located on the West Georgia Technical College Coweta Campus in Newnan, GA. Designed to achieve LEED Silver certification, the building is part of an expansion after the established campus outgrew its home base. Health care is a booming industry in the Atlanta metropolitan area, and the Allied Health building helps educate students to fill that void. The multi-purpose building serves a variety of needs, containing administrative and faculty offices, a lecture hall, teaching labs, healthcare and health sciences classrooms, student center, library, and bookstore.
Working on an accelerated schedule to complete the project in time for the upcoming school session, Fabral concealed fastener Silhouette HCF Series™ wall panels seamlessly integrate with adjacent materials, windows and design elements. In the building’s courtyard, perforated aluminum panels provide relief from the Georgia sun while also filtering wind. Fabral’s positive working relationship with MillerClapperton, strong customer service and product value made silhouette panels the right choice for this award-winning building.
