The Georges

Lexington, VA

The Georges occupies two restored historic buildings in downtown Lexington, the Washington Building and the Marshall Building. Both of the structures were built over 200 years ago and have served as private homes, shops, inns and offices over the course of their existence. Both buildings were restored in late 2014 and now offer completely updated, modern amenities with all the original charm, character, history and elegance. These buildings are two of the oldest surviving structures in Lexington and support the whimsical charm of downtown.

Fabral standing seam panels were an ideal fit for the traditional style restoration of the Marshall Building at The Georges. The Marshall Building represents three periods of construction and has been painted to look like one building; small changes in the brickwork and window sizing enhance the charisma of this restored structure. Metal works as a timeless link between the old-world and modern aspects of the downtown neighborhood.
